January, 2016 - Microionics plans to introduce specialty grade activated carbon to retail market.
January, 2016 - Mr. Phil Florek joins the Microionics team
November, 2015 - Microionics successfully tests novel electrolyte systems for energy storage.
August, 2015 - Microionics successfully develops new grades for activated carbon for electrochemical and capacitive deionization devices.
April, 2015 - US patent issued (US 9,096,349) for activated carbon production technology.
November, 2014 - Microionics successfully validated customer segment interviews and qualified for Phase-2 Ideadvance grant for commercialization.
May, 2014 - US patent issued (US 8,737,040) for novel ceramic electrode configuration.
May, 2014 - Microionics awarded Phase-1 Ideadvance grant.
October, 2013 - Microionics rents laboratory space in Neenah, WI to develop and test products.
September, 2013 - WiSys submits utility patent application for rapid non-pyrolytic method activated carbon manufacturing.
